HOLY MYRRH OIL
Holy Myrrh is a sacred, fragrant and aromatic oil used in Orthodox traditions. It is prepared from a mixture of aromatic substances such as frankincense and myrrh. Myrrh is used in sacraments, can be found in icons and churches, for anointing and blessings.
The ingredients symbolize the variety of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and the oil itself signifies spiritual blessing and healing. Along with gold and frankincense, myrrh was a precious gift given to kings, representing Jesus's divine and human nature.
