Saint Paisios
Commemorated on July 12th. Saint Paisios of Mount Athos was a famous Greek Orthodox monk, ascetic and spiritual leader. Saint Paisios is the patron saint and protector of the Greek Archidiocese of Australia, as well as the Signal Corps of the Greek and Cypriot militaries.
Saint Ephraim
Commemorated on May 5th and January 3rd. Saint Ephraim of Nea Makri, of Mount Amomon, is a celebrated miracle working 15th century Greek Orthodox martyr. His life, martyrdom, and the miraculous discovery of is relics are central to mofern Greek Orthodox devotion.
Archangel Michael
Commemorated on September 6th and November 8th. Holy Archangel Michale is Archistrategos (chief commander or captain) of heavely host of bodiless powers. He is revered as a supreme defender of the faith, a warrior against darkness, and a healer and protector of humankind. He is the patron saint of the Military and Hellenic Air Force.
